About the Library
The library’s main area of activity is focused on meeting the information needs of the college’s students and teaching staff.
Currently, the library of the Azerbaijan State Pedagogical College holds approximately 20,000 publications in Azerbaijani, Russian, and other foreign languages. The collection mainly consists of textbooks, teaching and methodological materials, educational programmes, local and foreign literary works, periodicals, and publications covering various other subjects.
In addition, electronic PDF versions of a number of textbooks and teaching materials have been prepared and added to the electronic library collection. These resources have been made available in the “Electronic Library” section of the college’s official website, enabling readers to access the library’s resources at any time without having to visit the library in person.
Furthermore, electronic reader records are being created to provide readers with more efficient services. This initiative will facilitate more objective monitoring of library visits and book circulation.
In accordance with the library’s work plan, efforts are also ongoing to create an electronic catalogue of the publications available in the library collection.
