About the Trade Union
Although the Azerbaijan Trade Union has operated in different periods, in every era it has remained a source of trust and confidence for people. A trade union is understood as a public organization that represents people's common interests related to their professional activities and is established to protect their labour rights and interests.
The trade union is a public organization operating to protect the labour, social and economic rights and legitimate interests of the college's staff, as well as of retired employees and enrolled students. The trade union participates in the drafting of legislative acts on labour and socio-economic issues.

Purpose of the Trade Union
The Trade Union is a public organization operating to protect the labour, social and economic rights and legitimate interests of the college's staff, as well as of retired employees and enrolled students.
The trade union participates in the drafting of legislative acts on labour and socio-economic issues.
Main Responsibilities
- Represents the interests of employees in social partnership, conducts collective negotiations, concludes collective agreements and accords, and oversees their implementation.
- Monitors employers' compliance with labour legislation and other normative legal acts.

Provides members with legal, material and other types of assistance
Sanatorium and Resort Services
Organization of medical treatment, children's health recreation and cultural institutions
Recreation and Tourism
Recreation, tourism, physical education, sports and charitable activities
Social Protection
Provision of unpaid leave for employees in connection with their health or family circumstances
Labour Rights, Protection of Rights and Social Protection
To ensure that the unpaid leave established by legislation is granted to college employees in connection with their health, family circumstances and other reasons, based on the opinion of the relevant trade union committee.
To participate in resolving disputed matters at the meetings of the disciplinary commission established at the college and to ensure the protection of employees' rights.
